Granicus is looking for a Senior Implementation Consultant. This role lives within the customer experience arm of the Granicus’ Digital Communications and Engagement Implementation Team. This team enables our government clients (government agencies) on our community engagement platform, partnering with customers to enhance the way that government organizations support their communities through engagement.

This role is perfect for an individual with a passion for helping government agencies connect with their communities to achieve their strategic objectives. Your role starts at project kick-off by providing the client with a project plan, oversight of discovery, and requirements gathering. You’ll configure their community engagement site and provide or coordinate appropriate training for their implementation – ensuring customers are both enabled and encouraged to utilize the system to its fullest potential. POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Implementation provides leadership and direction for National implementation teams .This role focuses on the successful implementation of new payroll, human resource or Time and Labour Management (TLM) clients as well as the conversion of existing clients. This position is responsible for directing the process and monitoring metrics for successful implementation as defined by ADP’s Quality Implementation standards, productivity and performance measurements and budget goals. This director works collaboratively with other functional units and removes roadblocks to successfully implement and maintain quality for our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide strategic leadership, direction and support to the implementation team to ensure we are meeting key performance indicators for Starts, Client Satisfaction, No Starts and time to start.
• Be an agent of change. Continually evaluate and enhance processes and tools across the team. Drive innovative changes resulting in sustained performance improvements and client experience.
• Foster and enhance relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
• Provide operational leadership for the Implementation team, including day to day business direction to regional offices.

• Coach team members e.g., problem resolution strategies, client handling strategies, project management (concerning balancing multiple implementations simultaneously)
• Determine how to assist team members to fill their skill set gap by participation in projects or other learning opportunities
• Coach team members to ensure all steps of the Quality Implementation process are not only followed but built upon to suit the individual needs of each client.
• Respond to escalated client questions or issues and manage critical accounts while coaching the original IS involved on how to avoid the escalated situation in the future.
• Ability to forecast project go-lives, while keep clients on track during the implementation methodology.
• Project staffing needs and budget requirements including strategies to react to variances in Sales volumes (positive or negative) .
• Analyze trends in quality survey scores, client sign off forms, rerun rates/reasons, additional business, lost accounts, and workflows to determine what actions should be taken.
• Develop internal relationships with critical areas such as Sales, Service, etc. and leverage on these relationships to ensure processes are seamless to the client and maximize IS productivity.
• Coach direct reports including performance appraisals, training suggestions, and conflict resolution
• Represent Implementation on inter-departmental project groups.

• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and mentor a team of Implementation Specialists responsible for providing Stellar Service to high-value clients throughout Canada.
• Minimum of five-plus years experience in managing a diverse team whose prime objective is to deliver Outsourcing Solutions
• Demonstrated strength in People Management, Project Management, and Client Relationship Management
• Demonstrated superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong background in reporting, forecasting, and analyzing metrics
• Working knowledge of payroll, human resources, pension, and benefits
• Expert planning skills and ability to negotiate project scopes, deliverables, milestones, and resource requirements with internal and external clients
• Experienced in developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external clients and coordinating efforts of various internal resources and teams to ensure the implementation and business objectives are attained
• Demonstrated capability to effectively oversee multiple implementations with varying complexities
• Allocating resources and/or shifting resources among projects to maximize reaching client expectations
• Experience in ensuring project completion is within defined scope, on schedule, and has met or exceeded client’s expectations, without sacrificing quality.

Preferred:

• Professional certification preferred, i.e., Project Management, Human Resources Management or Payroll Certificate
