About the role
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a temporary full-time SAP Technical Systems Analyst III – ABAP Developer join our dynamic IT Internal Customer Experience team.

The IT Internal Customer Experience team is responsible for ensuring a positive and seamless experience for internal users within Canadian Blood Services who interact with IT services and systems.

In this role, you will be responsible to work within multiple SAP functional areas including HR, Finance, Materials Management, Plant Maintenance, Asset Management, SAP procurement and Ariba processes, ensuring appropriate levels of integration and information sharing between the team members in IT. In Adult Protective Services (APS) program, Social Worker III’s may be assigned to receive, assess, and document reports of Elder or Dependent Adult abuse and neglect, investigate allegations, and document case-related activities. The ability to apply critical thinking skills and to develop professional collaborative partnerships with multi-disciplinary teams, county and community programs and law enforcement agencies are highly desired. A Master’s Degree in Social Work is preferred for Social Worker III positions in APS.

Employment Standards

Main Function

• The Cost / Schedule / Controls Engineer will perform or coordinate efforts for cost estimate preparation, estimating oversight, and quality assurance reviews for Company operated and Other Builder Operator estimates for all Gate and Funding milestones.
• The Cost/Schedule/Controls Engineer will also prepare Check Estimates and Schedules to compare with Operated by Others (OBO) Operator-prepared submittals.
• Also this person will participate in estimate / Schedule assessments (verification of project cost & schedule bases). Lastly, they are expected to participate in Estimating Group process efficiency tools and quality assurance review process improvements.

Tasks and Responsibilities
In addition to Leve1 and 2 tasks, a Level 3 would:

• Responsible for maintaining change control, cost reports, etc.
• Work with project estimator, planner and scheduler and Client’s accounting staff
• Coordinate and assemble the monthly progress reports
• Work closely with client’s project manager and team leads for regulated and non-regulated accounting reporting requirements

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering within the discipline or equivalent professional experience
• Previous experience in a closely related position
• Strong Influencing, consulting, mentoring, analytical, and computing skills

About the role
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Regular full-time Network Analyst III join our dynamic IT Strategy and Governance team.

The IT Strategy and Governance team designs the direction of technology use within Canadian Blood Services, ensuring it aligns with business objectives. They also establish and enforce policies and frameworks to manage risks, compliance, and resource allocation effectively.

In this role you will be primarily responsible for driving technology change, planning and delivery of Canadian Blood Services core network services as well as fulfill delivery duties to internal and external Canadian Blood Services stakeholders to meet business goals.

The key responsibilities include the planning, design, configuration and integration of core IT network services and enterprise networking infrastructure including switching, routing, wireless, firewalls, and network monitoring for on-premises and Azure services. This role requires experience and specialization in highly technical aspects of network hardware, software, and connectivity to influence the innovation as a member of the project delivery area.

Formula for success

• Leveraging your skills in network infrastructure, you will collaborate with team members on multiple IT initiatives, providing support throughout project lifecycles.
• Drawing upon your expertise in infrastructure delivery, you will provide fourth level support, researching, designing, implementing, and managing both on-premises and Azure-based network solutions.

• Desirable to have Industry certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
• Minimum of 5 years in a third/fourth level technical support role managing an enterprise network infrastructure.
• Working knowledge in configuring and managing network devices and Azure resources.
