This opportunity is for a Hearing Care Provider to work in our Livonia, MI clinic.

The ideal candidate must be strong clinically and willing to work with the leading hearing aid manufacturers. We are looking for someone who can work independently who excels in building patient rapport and has dispensing/closing skills. They will be responsible for the daily audiological tasks as well as performing in community outreach projects and working with the Alpaca Audiology team to ensure the success of their clinic.

Salary: $50,000-$60,000 based on HIS vs AuD + Sales Incentive Plan

Essential Functions:

• Perform patient hearing test assessments; analyze results and recommend varied treatment and product options
• Address patient’s questions and concerns regarding benefits of Hearing Aid use
• Discuss pricing of hearing instruments, presenting the value of hearing health care, your services, and the long term effects of hearing aid use
• Community outreach efforts to generate new patient referrals
• Teach patients how to best utilize the new technology in order to meet their hearing goals
• Hearing aid repairs, checks, and cleanings.
• Perform needed adjustments to fitted products; comply with all procedural company quality standards and guidelines to maximize product performance and overcome patient concerns/objections.
• With direct support of clinic staff, ensure smooth office operations

Qualifications/Requirements

• Hearing Aid Dispensing License in the state of Michigan
• Doctorate in Audiology preferred
• 3rd and 4th year Audiology Externs encouraged to apply

Hidden Hearing are looking to recruit a Hearing Aid Dispenser / Audiologist (HCPC Qualified) for our Shropshire/Mid Wales area.

The role comes with an attractive basic salary, company car or car allowance, commission, quarterly and annual bonuses.

Responsibilities

This role will see you working in the heart of the community, visiting customers in their own homes to conduct hearing tests in accordance with HCPC standards and promoting and selling hearing solutions. You are also likely to work from one or more of our day clinics within your designated territory.

You will need to be a HCPC qualified Hearing Aid Dispenser with the desire and ability to provide premium customer care and will have an aptitude for sales. You will also need a full UK driving licence.

This post requires all applicants to be eligible to work within the UK / EU without restriction. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide Visa sponsorship at this time.

The Role

In this role you will be:

• Conducting hearing tests for potential customers in accordance with the HCPC standards of proficiency and HCPC standards of performance, conduct and ethics, and BSHAA code of practice and BSHAA guidelines
• Advising on and selling suitable remedial hearing solutions as a result of testing in accordance with the HCPC standards, care of practice and guidelines
• Processing orders and carrying out other administrative tasks in accordance with Company requirements
• Delivering excellent aftersales service, responding to service calls and resolving issues and queries in a timely and professional manner

You will be employed on a permanent contract, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm, although some flexibility with working hours in accordance with business needs will be required. Part time will be considered.
