YOUR CHALLENGES

This is a hybrid position: 50% Business Development Manager responsible for identifying, qualifying, closing and implementing incremental customers and contracts. 50% to support, coach, develop and remove obstacles for sales team. Has primary responsibility for rolling out initiatives and holding sales accountable to defined metrics. Leading by example through the acquisition of new customers and growing market share.

YOUR RESPONSABILITIES

• Drive individual growth in specified geographical market;
• Lead by example through the acquisition of new customers through formal and nonformal agreements;
• Support sales team in market through in person coaching and development;
• Lead and implement the business development strategy and ensure its execution;
• Structure and optimize the prospecting process and the follow up with clients in a spirit of partnership;
• Develop and maintain exemplary relationships with customers, partners, colleagues and vendors;
• Build, develop and guide a team of outside representatives;
• Participate to the budget process.

SPECIFIC MEASURES OF SUCCESS

• Gross margin & Sales (sales team and individual);
• 360° solution offering;
• Net new customers;
• Engagement score;
• Dedicated time in market on joint calls.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 5 years or more of experience in a national sales role;
• Experience in C-suite sales negotiation;
• Experience leading and managing a team (an asset);
• Entrepreneurial self-starter with a proven track record of achieving sales goals as an individual contributor;
• Financial acumen.
