This internship focuses on leveraging these advancements, particularly in 2D diffusion models [1], to explore efficient generative approaches, such as Consistency Models [2], and extend research into adjacent tasks like image editing, super-resolution, restoration, and outcropping [3, 4]. Another potential direction is the exploration of text-to-3D asset generation [5].

Responsibilities:

– Research and develop innovative approaches in 2D diffusion models for generative modeling.

– Extend research to adjacent tasks, such as super-resolution and image restoration, with a potential exploration into text-to-3D asset generation.

– Explore and implement more efficient techniques to enhance the performance of generative models, focusing on computational efficiency.

– Conduct implementation of baselines for comparative evaluation on benchmarks, along with thorough ablation studies.

The research conducted in this internship is aimed at advancing the field of 2D generative modeling, with the expectation of contributing to paper submissions at top-tier conferences in the field.

You will be working with a small, focused team of industry experts who are passionate about what they do and want to help you advance in your career. We have a number of projects available based upon your level and interest. They include:

• Analyzing the performance of industry benchmarks and implementing compiler changes to improve performance

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong academic records (GPA 3.0 or 72% and better);
• Excellent programming skills in C, Python
• Sound knowledge of embedded development; RTOS concepts
• Ability to debug, root cause, and resolve FW issues spanning multiple subsystems in an SoC. Proven ability to own problems and drive them to a resolution
• Solid understanding in Computer Architecture/microarchitecture concepts
• Basic understanding of Microcontroller/Microprocessor programming
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Effective interpersonal communications skill (written and verbal)
• Analytical, thorough, resourceful and detail-oriented
• Self-motivated, hardworking, and flexible

Preferred Qualifications:

• Academic experience with industry standard Architecture / system specification, SoC design, Microcontroller firmware development

The Display Systems team is responsible for developing display panel color calibration/tuning algorithms and cutting-edge tools for Qualcomm Snapdragon processors, providing best in class performance, power, and features. The candidate will work on further enhancing our suite of tools and algorithms as well as exposure to the display hardware and software stack on Android and Linux. Responsibilities include working with the team on the design, development, integration, testing and support of existing and new features.
