I am actively representing one of the UK’s leading suppliers of Dynamics 365, as they look to add to their award winning practice with a functional consultant, specialising within Dynamics 365 CE/ CRM. My client is offering brilliant opportunity for an experienced consultant to add to their project experience on fresh, greenfield D365 CE implementations across the UK, with a host of interesting, enterprise level customers.

My client offers a modern and forward thinking approach to the partner implementation consultancy model, with employee and customer centricity at the heart of what they do. This flexible, home based role will require occasional travel to customer site where required – this could be UK wide, however travel will fluctuate depending on the phase of a customer project.

Role & Responsibilities

• Project analysis, requirement gathering and design – conducting client workshop’s and developing functional design documentation
• Hands on within the functional configuration and user acceptance testing of newly designed features and development
• Supporting customers in training key users and overseeing go-live to ensure a smooth transition onto their new D365 CE platform

Skills & Qualifications

• A proven track record in Dynamics CRM/ D365 CE implementation, across multiple projects (end user project experience will be considered)
• Understanding across marketing, field service or portals a distinct advantage
• End to end functional implementation cycle expertise
• Methodical and collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively within a team or independently
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with a confident approach to customer interation and stakeholder management

Funded by EPSRC and in partnership with the British Board of Agrément, the UK’s major authority for providing product reassurance in the construction industry, this research project will develop new digital testing methods for functional constructional materials with an aim to bring a step-change to product assessment and certification, thereby benefiting the whole construction industry.

Functional construction products (e.g. insulation, damp and sound proofing materials, etc.) are the key elements affecting the safety, efficiency, resilience and comfort of assets, and they have been the primary focus of innovation over time. Traditionally, product assessment is based on accelerated proofing tests. For example, to assess the performance of a product against weathering, a test chamber is equipped with heaters, coolers, UV bulbs and water jets to mimic real-life weather, with the product exposed to magnified conditions for a period of 4-24 weeks. The traditional methods of testing is simple, but time-consuming and expensive, thereby not meeting the demand of rapid innovation and market launch.

To address the above real-world challenges, this project takes a novel approach by integrating modelling, data, AI and microscopic imagining technologies into product assessment. Microstructural material characterization based on imagining technologies, physics-based modelling, data mining, and AI are the key elements for the new approach.

The project student will work as part of a multidisciplinary research team, strongly supported by senior researchers in the team and closely supervised by academic and industrial supervisors. Through the project, the PhD student will receive comprehensive research training all aforementioned areas and develop a unique set of research skills in Engineering (material characterization and engineering simulation) and Computer Science (imaging processing and AI).

6+ years of Dynamics CE (CRM) experience as a Functional Consultant or Architect

4+ years of experience in system design (8+ years for a Senior Architect)

4+ years implementing Microsoft Dynamics CRM – Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Field Service etc… (8+ years for a Senior Architect)

Familiarity with relational database concepts

Strong Business Analysis skills including requirements and business process elicitation & documentation.

Excellent presentation, communication, leadership and client development skills to effectively present information to C-level management, public groups and/or board of directors

Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, attention to quality, self-motivation and a strong desire to succeed

Preferred Education/Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, CIS, Engineering, or related field is preferred; work experience in lieu of a degree will be considered

Microsoft CRM Application certification a plus (such as MB-200, MB-210-240, MB-600, MB2-710, +/or MB2-716)

Business Analysis Certification (CBAP or similar), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or other related industry certifications

Microsoft SharePoint and Business Intelligence experience a plus

Experience in manufacturing, insurance and/or banking industries

Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools

Base Salary Pay Range*: CAD $107,500 – CA $152,500

*The current applicable Base Salary Pay Range for this role is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills relevant to the role, internal equity, alignment with market data, or other law.
