Your focus will be around improving the conversion and digital experience of our client’s brands on partner direct selling, retailer websites, and enhance their paid search and display visibility and drive through to conversion.

The role will report into our eCommerce activation director, will manage a team of activation executives, and has EMEA-wide remit.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

eCommerce Media Expertise

  • Lead the eCommerce Media strategy for leading FMCG clients across biddable platforms from Amazon to eGrocery platforms leveraging Criteo, CitrusAd, or other retail media platforms.
  • Help Clients to plan and develop retail media budgets and KPIs and then help to manage the team to build campaigns execute on the agreed objectives.
  • Drive best in class practices and optimization strategies across digital touchpoints, ensuring clients are at the forefront of testing to deliver on performance goals and working with client leads to advise on areas of improvement.
  • Work closely with the client’s local agency teams to develop holistic strategies against ATL media and with wider eCommerce teams to manage stock / pricing / retail health and be able to flex campaigns accordingly. eCommerce Strategy Knowledge
  • Uncover client commercial objectives, and actively participate in long range strategic planning across both media planning and buying in order to meet & exceed those commercial goals.
  • Provide recommendations to improve sales & margin, through effective retail & marketing planning.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership with clients by developing and presenting client industry/market research findings, eCommerce search trends, eCommerce growth areas, new models to consider and Transact case studies.

eCommerce Analysis Skills

  • Be able to analyse multiple data sources confidently and accurately, highlight the most relevant KPIs for each client, draw key insights and write commentary within the context.
  • Identify opportunities based on deep data analysis using Media Platforms (Criteo, CitrusAd, etc.), Amazon tools (Pacvue/Skai), or other external sources (Profitero, Nielsen, GfK, etc.)

Stakeholder Management Skills

  • You will be in a regional role driving growth within local markets – so eagerness to partner across multiple local markets & regional clients should be a superpower.
  • Effectively and confidently communicate with clients and internal teams, delivering eCommerce analysis, insight, and strategy coherently to an audience with a broad eCommerce understanding.
  • Managing a team of 2-3 eCommerce Executives, owning responsibility for your team’s output, acting as the escalation point when required. Coach the team through their annual reviews.
  • Proactive, open, and curious – both internally and at the client to strive develop best in class ecommerce practices across markets

Essential Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ eCommerce experience, including paid search (PPC / Search Engine Marketing), and/or SEO/organic search, retailer eCommerce activation / performance display at either a digital agency or client-side and at least 1+ years of team management.
  • Ambitious, driven and passionate about all things eCommerce, with an excellent comprehension of how search serves as the backbone of online purchases
  • Ecommerce activation experience through Criteo, Amazon Advertising Platform (AMS, AMG and DSP), CitrusAD and / or other retail players
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Enjoy educating clients about all things eCommerce and how optimising search can drive eCommerce efforts
  • Good negotiating skills paired with ability to dive deep into performance reporting.

Good to have:

  • Additional language skills highly preferred (Spanish/German/Italian)
  • Knowledge & experience of performance analysis, forecasting & creating high level & in depth reports
  • Experience working with & advising on the implementation of tagging & tracking

Team and role overview

  • The Finance team is responsible for the accounting, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, investment accounting, purchasing and procurement, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. The finance team consists of 30 people, including the CFO, having grown in the last 18 months to enable it to support business growth.
  • BII has recently expanded its operations to incorporate overseas entities and provide accounting services to newly formed investment companies. There are currently twelve overseas offices. Additionally, there are seventeen UK investment holding companies.

The Role

Purpose

This role will be responsible for the bookkeeping, month-end close financial reporting, monthly reconciliations, assisting with the year-end audit, production of annual audited financial statements and supporting the overseas team with management of information for the entities detailed above.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the day-to-day work carried out by the overseas team of three people
  • Assisting with the real-time bookkeeping for the entities
  • Ensuring good financial controls are followed and process improvement where necessary
  • Reviewing month-end reconciliations and trial balances for all entities for accuracy and completeness
  • Production of annual financial statements for all entities in accordance with IFRS, liaising with auditors in the UK and overseas
  • Ensure all overseas VAT and withholding tax returns (prepared by overseas providers) are completed and submitted on time
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with overseas service providers and the business
  • Assist the team in collating information to drive for automated solutions in reporting and planning to help find efficiencies, accuracy & insights

The Candidate

Background, skills, aptitude

  • Must be a Part-Qualified or Qualified Accountant with extensive financial accounting experience based in an investment or financial services organisation; processing and preparing IFRS accounts (preferable with exposure to smaller accounts of Subsidiaries & Overseas Offices)
  • Strong technical accounting skills
  • Experience of Infor SunSystems and Q&A is preferable
  • Experience of designing, building and implementing processes from scratch
  • A flexible team player and proactive contributor
  • The ability to take the initiative, to enjoy new challenges and see tasks through to completion

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized IT Category Manager to join our team. As an IT Category Manager, you will play a crucial role in streamlining our IT procurement process, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining optimal IT inventory levels. You will collaborate with various departments to understand IT requirements, evaluate supplier options, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet IT requirements while considering cost, quality, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to understand their IT procurement needs and develop procurement plans accordingly.
  • Evaluate and select external vendors and suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability factors. Negotiate and finalise contracts and service level agreements.
  • Oversee the procurement process, including raising purchase orders, tracking shipments, and handling any delivery discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of IT inventory, ensuring adequate supply levels while minimizing excess stock.
  • Continuously monitor market trends and technological advancements to identify new vendors and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Conduct regular vendor performance reviews, assessing adherence to contractual agreements and addressing any concerns.
  • Implement sustainable procurement practices, considering environmental and social impact factors, and promoting ethical sourcing.
  • Work closely with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  • Stay updated on relevant regulations and compliance requirements related to IT procurement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. A relevant certification would be an asset.
  • Proven experience in IT procurement or a similar role, with a strong understanding of IT hardware, software, and services.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and strategies.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for details.
  • Proficient in using procurement software and tools to streamline processes and generate reports.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with ethical sourcing and sustainable procurement practices is preferred.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.

In partnership with Display Coordinators and store team, deliver seasonal layouts, VM initiatives and display schemes that set the highest possible standard for creative excellence. Partner with peers to support in the communication and execution of seasonal layouts, VM direction and display schemes across the district.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • With guidance from the Store Manager, interpret company direction and current fashion trends to deliver creative and exciting VM solutions, which are market specific and support in sales generation.
  • Actively seek outside inspiration and apply personal talent to develop and contribute unique perspectives to the overall display concepts.
  • Consistently lead and collaborate with the Store Manager, Display Coordinators and other creative coordinators resulting in innovative and timely project execution.
  • Proactively manage, with direction from Store Manager (having shared responsibility with the Display team), the delivery of seasonal display and merchandising concepts through effective time management and planning, detailed bubble mapping, clean execution and timely completion.
  • With guidance from Head Office, district creative and in partnership with the Display Coordinators, communicate seasonal set-ups through effective photo layouts.
  • Following company guidelines, implement all VM initiatives, window schemes and styling direction to the highest possible standard.
  • Communicate company merchandising concepts, initiatives and trends to the store teams through meetings, weekly walkthroughs and inspiration boards.
  • Inspire others to work toward a common, collaborative goal by sharing inspiration, new ideas and pertinent information from Head Office.
  • Effectively delegate projects while at the same time allowing others the creativity to succeed by making their own decisions.
  • Coach team members on merchandise placement, merchandising standards, execution of promotion and markdown placement and business analysis.
  • Facilitate an efficient shipment processing system in which merchandise is placed promptly in order to maximise sales.
  • Maintain an organised office, signage storage area and fixture room.
  • Build community relationships that directly reflect the Anthropologie culture.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of driving sales through excellent visual presentations and strong business acumen.
  • An understanding of the Anthropologie culture and its appeal to the local market.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and possess strong organisational skills.
  • Project and time management experience.
  • A willingness to travel and be away from a home store for periods of time to support on new store openings and projects.
  • Retail management experience with creative interests or a background in fashion, art and music.

  • The Visual Coordinator collaborates with the store team to develop understanding of big ideas. They are the foundation of the creative process and they are the pioneers in developing the Anthro environment. It is essential that Visual Coordinator share their ideas so that we as a company can continuously foster an environment of “peers teaching peers”.

  • Mentor retail teams on VM through training on visual expectations, product standards, fixture management.
  • Identify and develop team members to assist in VM projects and seasonal set-ups by working with store management.

Leadership & Communication

  • Attend daily meetings and collaborate with Store Manager, to share inspiration, new ideas and pertinent information from Head Office with the store team.
  • Attend store Monday walkthroughs to gain an insight into store performance and sales • Model, lead the way in daily interactions by being professional, a clear communicator and open to new ideas.
  • Communicate new inspiration to the Head Office via Store Manager, through good ideas and visual presentations
  • Consistently collaborate with the Display Coordinators and Store Manager which results in innovative and timely project execution.

Managing The Environment

  • Work with Display Coordinators and store team to ensure work areas are organised and clean, with an emphasis on customer and employee safety.
  • With support from the Store Manager, ensure safety standards are upheld in the store in terms of displays and materials/tool management.
  • Work with Display Coordinators to maintain an organised display room, signage storage area and fixture room.

Operations

  • Support sales generation by creating an environment that highlights the appearance of the product and reflects the customer’s lifestyle and interests.
  • Ensure display budgets are met and complete expense-reporting requirements accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to support the store in achieving the stock loss goal. Ensure all merchandise used for display is maintained, properly handled and accounted for at all times.
  • Work with Store Manager to prioritise and plan projects to ensure that the customer experience is not inhibited.
  • Store keyholding and support with opening and closing when required to meet the demands of the store and business
  • Working days/ hours to be flexible across the retail trading week to support project demands and to meet the operational needs of the business.

As a senior member of the Customer Marketing team, you will be responsible for maximising value and commercial impact for our portfolio of brands with two of the Top 4 Grocery retailers. In addition, you will be responsible for driving the activation strategies for your assigned channels and/or group of customers within the UK market.

Meaningful Work From Day One

The role collaborates with key stakeholders across sales, marketing, BBI (Brand and Business Insights) and IMC (integrated marketing communications) to develop best-in-class activation strategies and executions. The collaboration will involve the creative development, instore focused media planning, onsite activity planning and execution which aligns with a retailers approach.

The role requires the ability to empower and influence direct reports and efficiently manage and prioritise the team’s workload within the assigned group of customers. Leadership will be required to identify the strategic customers and programs which align with the overall business goals, and seamlessly integrate with the other channels.

You will be able to demonstrate the ability to combine a strategic business approach while managing multiple projects at any given time.

Support the delivery of the commercial financial targets versus annual budgets.

Input activity insight and customer-specific learnings into the development of annual cycle plans.

Develop long-term key customer relationships with Customer Buying and Marketing teams to ensure that brand/shopper activations meet customer strategies and challenges.

Actively and regularly visit the trade, including different channel concepts seminars and champion the accounts within your remit. Gain an in-depth understanding of the operational challenges experienced on a day-to-day basis.
