Aperçu du poste :

Ce rôle est essentiel en raison de la complexité technique du programme FAcT, qui nécessite la supervision et la coordination de la portée des travaux internes, externes et des sous-traitants. Le responsable de l’intégration technique devra :

  • Assumer la responsabilité de l’intégration harmonieuse de toutes les composantes techniques du programme.
  • Consolider la conception des différents composants de la solution en une solution intégrée cohérente.
  • Assurer une couverture complète des exigences techniques tout au long du programme et faciliter une communication, une coordination et une intégration efficaces des changements techniques entre les parties prenantes, les sous-traitants et les produits livrables.
  • Élaborer et gérer un plan d’essai intégré et superviser les activités d’acceptation de l’essai par le client au niveau du programme.

À ce titre, le responsable de l’intégration technique – FAcT sera chargé de :

  • Coordonner et assurer l’imputabilité de l’élaboration de la solution technique globale, y compris les dispositifs de formation, les didacticiels et la mise en service des opérations d’entraînement en vol (FTO) et de l’organisme de maintenance agréé (AMO) pour le site de Moose Jaw.
  • Agir en tant que principal point de contact technique avec nos parties prenantes internes et externes (SkyALyne, OEM, sous-traitants, RCAF, etc.) pour soutenir les échanges techniques.
  • Servir de point de contact principal pour la coordination de toutes les livraisons techniques au client.
  • Collaborer étroitement avec le chef de l’exécution de la solution d’entraînement afin d’aligner la solution d’entraînement et les didacticiels sur la solution technique en termes de livrables contractuels, de portée et de calendriers de programmes intégrés.
  • Collaborer étroitement avec le responsable technique du GBTS afin d’aligner les dispositifs d’entraînement sur la solution technique en termes de livrables contractuels, de champ d’application et de calendriers de programmes intégrés.
  • Collaborer étroitement avec le responsable technique FTO et le responsable technique OMA afin d’aligner la solution de fourniture de soutien et de formation en service sur la solution technique en termes de livrables contractuels, de champ d’application et de calendriers de programmes intégrés.
  • Collaborer avec le responsable de la gestion des programmes et des contrats en tant que partie prenante clé, en cernant et en communiquant les risques techniques, les occasions et les décisions relatives à la performance de la solution technique et au contrôle des changements.
  • Analyser les demandes de travaux supplémentaires, évaluer les besoins et concevoir des solutions à intégrer dans la solution technique existante, tout en évaluant les impacts et les risques.
  • Présenter l’exécution de la solution technique lors des revues de programme et à la direction générale, en proposant des idées et des recommandations pour améliorer la satisfaction des clients.
  • Guider les comités d’évaluation des programmes avec l’aide des clients et des utilisateurs finaux, en veillant à ce que les limites de la solution technique soient respectées.
  • Soutenir la gestion du programme en évaluant les processus opérationnels actuels et en proposant des améliorations.

Qualifications :

  • Baccalauréat dans un domaine technique en lien avec le poste ou une expérience de travail équivalente.
  • Vaste expérience (au moins 10 ans) dans des fonctions d’intégration technique au sein de programmes ou de projets complexes.
  • Forte compréhension de la conception de solutions techniques et des principes d’intégration.
  • Capacité avérée à coordonner plusieurs parties prenantes et à gérer l’élaboration d’une documentation technique complexe.
  • Excellentes compétences en matière de communication et de présentation, avec la capacité d’impliquer et d’influencer les parties prenantes à plusieurs niveaux de l’organisation.
  • Expérience avérée en matière d’évaluation des risques, de prise de décision et de résolution de problèmes.
  • Capacité à gérer et à établir la priorité des tâches de manière efficace dans un contexte de travail au rythme rapide.
  • Une expérience dans le secteur de la formation ou de l’aérospatiale est un atout.
  • Une expérience des opérations d’entraînement au vol militaire et de la maintenance des aéronefs est un atout.
  • Capacité à travailler sur des projets avec peu de directives.
  • Bonnes aptitudes analytiques et techniques.

As the Technical Integration Leader on the Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) program, you will support the Program Management effort for this historic multibillion-dollar CAE project. Position Overview:

This role is vital due to the FAcT program’s intricate technical complexity, requiring oversight and coordination of internal, external, and subcontractor scopes of work. The Technical Integration Leader will:

  • Assume responsibility for the seamless integration of all technical components within the program.
  • Consolidate the design of individual solution components into a cohesive integrated solution design.
  • Ensure comprehensive coverage of technical requirements throughout the program and facilitate effective communication, coordination, and incorporation of technical changes across stakeholders, subcontractors, and deliverables.
  • Develop and manage an integrated test plan and oversee customer test acceptance activities at the program level.

In this role, the Technical Integration Leader – FAcT will be responsible to:

  • Coordinate and ensure accountability for the overall Technical Solution development, including training devices, courseware, and ramp-up of the Fight Training Operations (FTO) and Acceptable Maintenance Organization (AMO) for the Moose Jaw site.
  • Act as the main technical point of contact with our internal and external stakeholders (SkyALyne, OEMs, Subcontractors, RCAF, etc.) to support technical exchanges.
  • Act as the main point of contact for coordination of all technical deliveries to the customer.
  • Collaborate closely with the Training Solution Execution Lead to align the Training Solution and courseware with the Technical Solution in term of contractual deliverables, scope, and integrated program schedules.
  • Collaborate closely with the GBTS Technical Lead to align the training devices with the Technical Solution in terms of contractual deliverables, scope, and integrated program schedules.
  • Collaborate closely with the FTO Technical Lead and AMO Technical Lead to align the In-Service Support and Training Delivery Solution with the Technical Solution in terms of contractual deliverables, scope and integrated program schedules.
  • Collaborate with Program Management and Contract Management as a key stakeholder, identifying and communicating technical risks, opportunities, and decisions pertaining to the Technical Solution’s performance and change control.
  • Analyze additional work requests, evaluate requirements, and design solutions to be integrated into the existing Technical Solution, while assessing impacts and risks.
  • Present the execution of the Technical Solution during program reviews and to executive leadership, offering insights and recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Guide the Program Review Boards with input from customers and end-users, ensuring compliance with the boundaries of the Technical Solution.
  • Support Program Management by assessing current operational processes and proposing improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience (minimum of 10 years) in technical integration roles within complex programs or projects.
  • Strong understanding of technical solution design and integration principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage complex technical documentation development.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience in risk assessment, decision-making, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the training or aerospace industry an asset.
  • Experience in military flight training operations and aircraft maintenance an asset.
  • Capable of working on projects with little guidance.
  • Good analytical and technical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas and actions to people at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain and communicate a global understanding of the program while still maintaining a strong attention to details.

Job Position: Senior Human Resources Officer

Job Location: Abuja / Maiduguri, Borno

About the Role

  • Under the management of the Director of Administration and Finance, the Senior Human Resources Officer (SHRO) will oversee all FACT’s Human Resources Department.
  • The SHRO will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and policy review and updates.

Responsibilities

Staff Management:

  • Management of staff across all FACT foundation offices and Area sub-bases;
  • Management of Award and or disciplinary action to staff as per FACT HR Manual after approval of Area Coordinator;
  • Management/Follow up of staff leaves, provide necessary forms for staff, while needed;
  • Follow up on FACT HR standards templates in line with FACT HR Manual/internal regulations
  • Management of public holidays & keeping informed all bases/staff (national/International).
  • Control & check the attendance sheet of staff and arrangement of monthly reports for salary payments;
  • Ensure all staff (national & international) have comprehensive ToRs;
  • Follow up on staff appraisal form with relevant department managers;
  • Update and maintain Area office Organization Chart in accordance with the size of programme (new staff, new dept. & new projects)

Monthly Report Follow-up:

  • Develop Staff list/Staff Changes report and share with coordination not later than the 20th of each month; Staff Costs report to be sent to Coordination. not later than 25th of each month;
  • Monthly report consolidation/approved reports to be received from Coordination for salary payment not later than the 28th of each month;
  • Monthly report signed hard copy & support documents to be sent to Coordination not later than 1st week of next month;
  • Control the Staff cost in the FACT Area office and sub-bases with direct cross-checking with the Area Finance Officer;
  • Review and update the national staff grade, salary & position to be in accordance with country approved salary grid;
  • Organize sub-base visits to cross-check Admin/HR documents & review the HR system on a quarterly basis to ensure transparency and accuracy as well as sub-base proper setup;

Recruitment:

  • Prepare vacancy announcements for staff
  • Cross-check with the Finance unit to ensure the budget is available for new recruitments;
  • Ensure that ToRs are prepared by the line manager prior to the release of the vacancy announcement;
  • Ensure that all CVs will be reviewed by the relevant dept. prior shortlisting;
  • Prepare a comprehensive/clear shortlist of successful candidates to attend for Interview(s)
  • Ensure collection of all necessary documents of applicants as indicated in the FACT HR Manual;
  • Ensure checking successful candidate “Reference Check” prior to offering the position;
  • Draft employment contract for staff and collect all information required for the contract. (ID card, photos, identification information, “recruitment package” etc.)

General Filing:

  • Create Standard FACT Admin/HR filing system (include official correspondences, premises contracts, governmental tax follow-up, recruitment process documents, etc.);
  • Create a thorough personal folder system for all staff;
  • Send area staff personal folder relevant documents on 1st week of N+ month to Coordination.;
  • Ensure that the personal folder database has been updated on a regular basis;

Capacity Building:

  • Develop a general database with direct consultation of line managers (Head of dept. Area FLAT, Program Managers, and Coordination approval. This list will contain (a list of staff, working period, performance evaluation, and required training).
  • Conduct review and survey of staff performances with direct contact of line managers to identify requirements/needs for training and provide to Admin/HR Manager;
  • Brief Training for all new national staff on FACT system, procedures, code of conduct, and internal regulation.
  • Contact with line manager, program officers, area FLAT, and Area Coordinator to update the database;

Requirements

  • B.Sc in a related field. Professional certification is necessary
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, at least 2 years in a similar role in an NGO is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills are required for effective report writing
  • Strong time management skills
  • Good communication skills along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable multi-tasking and supporting multiple products
  • Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Figma, and Microsoft Office desktop applications, including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Google Suite apps.
