Key Responsibilities

  • Stay current with the latest advancements in pharmaceutical research to ensure training materials are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance to internal teams, healthcare professionals, and customers regarding product benefits, mechanisms of action, and usage.
  • Ensure that all training materials and brand-related activities comply with pharmaceutical regulations, industry standards, and ethical guidelines.
  • Conduct market research and understand the pharmaceutical market trends
  • Develop and execute brand management strategies to increase brand visibility, awareness, and market share.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company’s ethical pharmaceutical products and their therapeutic applications.
  • Stay informed about changes in pharmaceutical regulations and adjust training materials and brand strategies as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (DPharm) Degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing
  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical training and brand management.
  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, clinical presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Position and Salary Information:

The Attorney General’s Office is recruiting for a permanent full time AGO Investigator/Analyst in the Executive Ethics Board. This position is located in Olympia, Washington, and is represented by the Washington Federation of State Employees (WFSE).

AGO Investigator/Analyst Range 63: $70,800 – $95,184

The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the preferred candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

The following stipends may apply based on position requirements:

  • Incumbents assigned to our Seattle office location receive an additional 5% King County Location Pay stipend.
  • Incumbents assigned to a position designated as requiring dual language skills will receive a 5% Dual Language Requirement Pay stipend.

Division Information:

The Executive Ethics Board is a five-member board appointed by the Governor. The Board is responsible for interpreting and enforcing the state law governing ethics in public service, chapter 42.52 RCW, for all officers and employees in the executive branch of state government. The Attorney General’s Office provides the staff for the Board. There are four staff members; the Executive Director, Administrative Officer, and two Investigator/Analysts.

Duties

What does an AGO Investigator/Analyst do?

Conducts investigations of complaints made under the Ethics in Public Service Act, which may involve highly sensitive materials and/or computer or complex financial records. (1) With respect to both complaints directly filed with the Executive Ethics Board and referred by the State Auditor’s Office, identify, collect, assemble, analyze and legally assess documentary, statistical and demonstrative evidence, including business records, audit reports, computer records, and state agency policies and procedures. (2) Conducts review of complaint, including reports submitted by the State Auditor’s Office under the Whistleblower Program. (3) Documents investigative findings in a written report to the Executive Director. (4) Interviews subject of investigation and any witnesses to the occurrence. (5) Identifies and obtains all relevant information using all appropriate investigative techniques. (6) Drafts documents and assists legal counsel in preparation of hearing. (7) Testifies at administrative hearings and/or in court of law, as needed. (8) Participates in strategic planning of settlement negotiations. Makes recommendations to Executive Director reading settlement. (9) Provide classroom and virtual training regarding the Ethics in Public Service Act to state employees and coordinates with agencies to schedule training. Tailors subject matter to meet agency needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience conducting investigations, which include the authority to independently plan and conduct investigations in civil or criminal cases.
