Position Summary:

The People Team at ACE is currently seeking a dynamic and professional Senior Director to join their ranks. This role will encompass various aspects of human resources, with a primary focus on talent management and the full employee life cycle, including selection and recruiting, learning and development, policy and compliance, employee engagement and retention, performance management, and organizational development. The position will report to the Chief People and Culture Officer with at least one direct report.

Essential Job Duties or Tasks:

The Senior Director, People Team will oversee and coordinate the human resources function within ACE, encompassing the entire employee life cycle, including talent management, policy development and implementation, transformational change management, organizational capability building, business partnering, and leadership responsibilities.

Talent Management

  • Ensure appropriate sourcing, selection and recruiting practices for all ACE positions.
  • Uphold engagement and retention efforts through learning and organizational development.

Policy Development & Risk Management Implementation

  • Develop functional or operational policies and frameworks for the assigned area, including procedures, and ensure their successful implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and internal policies, and mitigate HR-related risks.
  • Help manage employee relations issues, including performance improvement plans and separations.

Transformational Change Management

  • Manage projects or significant workstreams as part of a transformational change program, ensuring integration with related projects.
  • Utilize structured change management methodologies to foster acceptance of change and instill desired culture and behaviors.

Organizational Capability Building

  • Leverage ACE’s formal development framework to identify individual development needs within the team.
  • Plan and execute actions to enhance professional capabilities, including participation in programs such as the Manager to Leader Success Program, Performance Management, Skillsoft/Percipio Training, and Leadership Excellence Program.

Business Partnering and Leadership Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with department leaders and stakeholders to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide guidance on people-related matters.
  • Demonstrate leadership vertically and laterally, collaborating with the executives and employees.
  • Work closely with the Chief People and Culture Officer and supervise assigned staff.

Data Analytics

  • Utilize HR data and analytics to assess trends, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations for optimizing people related programs and processes.

HR Operations

  • Oversee all HR operations, including recruitment, talent management, performance evaluation, compensation, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.

Education/Experience/Specialized Knowledge and Competency Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

Experience:

  • General Experience: 10 to 15 years of extensive experience demonstrating expert HR competence.
  • Managerial Experience: Experience managing projects, programs, and people.
  • Technical Experience: Expertise with HRIS, ATS, survey software, SharePoint, MS Forms, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and OneDrive.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree.
  • Experience in a higher education or association environment.
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP.
  • Certified Diversity Recruiter preferred.
  • Technical Experience: Expertise in in Skillsoft/Percipio, UKGPro, AdobeSign and Qualtrics.

This position is open to a hybrid or in-person work schedule.

Your role:

We are seeking a Social Worker to primarily support separated young people (Wigan’s language to describe unaccompanied asylum seeking young people).

The post holder must be age assessed trained and have some experience of working with separated young people.

Applicants will need to have good knowledge of the needs of separated young people and preferably experience of working with and supporting separated young people. We expect the post holder to act as an advocate for young people who are survivors of modern slavery, trafficking and trauma, supporting them to address and overcome any social, personal, physical or mental health issues they may experience and empowering them with daily routines and activities.

This may include assisting young people with gaining access to benefit entitlements, working with care leavers without recourse to public funds, supporting young people to access health care provision, move on accommodation, educational services and any other identified areas of need or personal goals and aspirations. The support we provide our young people will help them to successfully integrate into the community they live in and reduce social isolation.

Applicants will need to demonstrate a keen interest in working with and supporting young people who have experienced trauma and where English is not their first language is key. Applicants will have the opportunity to put previous experience to good use whilst managing a diverse caseload.

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed people who can act as strong advocates for this group of people and help to drive practice improvement. You would be part of an established dynamic and supportive Children in Care Service striving to offer an outstanding service to children we look after.

About the Role:

  • To hold professional responsibility for the work undertaken by Social Work staff who are providing the assessment and care management support to Adult Social Care.
  • To support the Team Manager and Group Managers with the development, planning, delivery, performance, commissioning and governance of services to deliver a first class service and for Adult Social Care ensuring best value and choice and control are at the heart of the process.
  • To support the Manager to manage resources efficiently and effectively without compromising the delivery of high quality, fully integrated services.
  • To manage efficient operation of processes, policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high quality standards in line with national legislation and guidance and local and service policies and procedures.
  • To provide consultancy and mentoring/coaching to students, social workers, occupational therapists other staff and other professionals who have a safeguarding role through the provision of assessment, support planning, delivery of services and review.
  • To plan and organise assessment and development programmes for staff caseload to enable them to develop assessment and care management skills to a high standard and work effectively within the eligibility criteria.
  • To promote a positive manner to internal and external parties and potential customers, including pro-actively seeking opportunities to grow and develop the business.

Position: Social Worker Assessment Team

Job Purpose

Responsibilities

  • Help to manage the database of BAC candidate profiles, including creating records of new candidates and general maintenance and working with developers to improve the databased. of the database.

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.

Base Salary Range for New York Candidates

The expected base salary for this role is between 80,000 – 100,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.

About the Role:

In this role, you will, under appropriate supervision, assess and provide crucial services to children in need.
