Job description: The Information Technology (IT) Intern is responsible for assisting a designated functional area. This position will apply standard IT techniques and procedures in various projects.

• Assists with analyzing data and reports for logical and reasonable outcomes; investigates errors and proposes solutions to the problem.
• Assist customers and the development team to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications.
• Assist with infrastructure support for servers, network, SAN, and end-user devices.
• Assist in designing system specifications and interfaces for interacting components.
• Assist in designing and developing applications to functional and technical standards.
• Assist with the deployment of application releases into production.
• Assist in the implementation of new or improved systems and processes.

All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related program.
• Must be currently enrolled in good standing. Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.
• Actively involved in campus, community or other volunteer activities or organizations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs, including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Self-motivated and eager learner, aptitude to grow and develop within the field.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located.

The role is based in our Longsight District Office. Role is Hybrid but candidate is expected to be local and have office presence throughout the week.

• Carrying out home visits for monitoring purposes/ to promote the welfare of and to safeguard the children
• Liaising/ Working close with partnership agencies to support the families and meet the children/ young peoples

• Producing Initial Child Protection Conference reports
• Convening and chairing Core Group Meetings
• Initiating and implementing Child Protection Plans

• Organising/managing packages of care
• Preparing and presenting case conference reports
• Completing/reviewing/implementing CIN plans
• Chairing Children in Need meetings
• Attending court and giving evidence when required

Reporting to the Operations Leader, the Registered Nurses administer and implement the medical and therapeutic programs ordered by the physician. As team members, through the provision of treatment services and health education, the incumbent fosters an environment in which clients can achieve and maintain optimal health. Duties include: providing inpatient and outpatient/emergency care for the patient; assisting with planning; implementing and evaluating a comprehensive family service; and performing other related duties which contribute to the optimal functioning of the unit.

Certification in A.C.L.S., N.R.P, and T.N.C.C would be desirable. A minimum of (2) two – (3) three years of experience in acute care nursing is required for this position. Emergency Nursing experience would be considered an asset.
