Job Position: Public Relations / Marketing Specialist (Healthcare)

Responsibilities
- Marketing: Prepare and execute marketing strategies in the creation of print and digital marketing materials including brochures, direct mail, email campaigns, and other promotional materials. Manage distributions to key outlets to ensure timely delivery.
- Advertising: Work with local, regional, and national outlets to place paid advertisements or coordinate promotional partnerships for the organization while keeping within the departmental budget.
- Social Media: create and maintain social media calendars, and plan, and coordinate mission-driven content. Must maintain organizational voice on social channels and external communications and balance the needs of different departments and priorities.
- General PR: Write and distribute organizational media releases, manage photo opportunities, host press outlets and film crews on-site, and facilitate successful press experiences.
- Community Relations: Participate with the entire team as an ambassador for the organization in the community – forging partnerships, identifying collaborative opportunities, and serving on committees for community initiatives as needed.
- Search Engine Optimization: Optimize website content and structure to improve search engine rankings. This involves keyword research, on-page optimization, link building, and monitoring search engine algorithm changes.
- Graphic Design: create in-house graphics, photo collages, website graphics, signage, program flyers, and paid media advertisements as needed.
- Website: Working knowledge of WordPress to update content, refresh imagery, and monitor the organization’s website. Publications: Manage the design and distribution of the organization’s print and/or digital publications.
- Apart from the above duties and responsibilities, your job description may be modified by the Company from time to time as decided by the Management.
- Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Healthcare Management, Sales & Marketing or related discipline
- Professional certification from any relevant professional body is an added advantage.
- Five years of experience within the healthcare industry.
Salary
N350,000 – N400,000 monthly.

Responsibilities
- Achieve against sales target.
- Develop new business relationships, and generate and negotiate new business opportunities.
- Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.
- Prepare marketing plans and strategies.
- Responsible for lead generation and appointment setting.
- A thorough understanding of the client’s needs/objectives.
- 80% of the time will be out of the office for follow-up and follow-through meetings.
- Prepare and develop technical presentations to explain our company’s products and services to existing and prospective customers.
- Negotiate details of contracts and payments and prepare sales contracts and order forms.
- Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, and explain technical product advantage.
- Interface between the company and potential clients through direct communication such as onsite meetings, telephone calls, and presentations to promote our brand and services.
- Maintain and keep a good relationship with our clients.
- Discuss raw materials requirements with customers and identify the correct product offering from our company. Provide product samples based on the customer’s requirement and follow up till the sample approval.
- Work with the division manager to obtain quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates. In case of any unforeseen changes as agreed with the division manager, the same must be effectively communicated with the customer.
- Forward orders to the logistics coordinator after getting approval from the division head.
- Recommend products to customers, based on customers’ needs and interests.
- Effective Communication with logistics coordinator and government agencies.
- Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
- Answer customers’ questions about products, prices, product, availability etc.
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales.
- Reporting to Division Manager.
Qualifications
- HND / B.Eng in Chemical Engineering, Engineering, or related Sciences.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales and marketing in the Chemical market.
- Willing to work as NAFDAC technical officer.
- Member of ICCON ( Institute of Charted Chemists of Nigeria)
- A positive and determined approach to researching and analyzing new business opportunities.
- Confident negotiator and ability to close deals.
- Must have strong interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and business writing skills especially proposals.
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate ideas and solutions.
- Should have good networks with chemical companies, especially the subject area assigned to the staff.
