Summary of Job Duties: The Ticket Center Assistant will provide ticket center staff with assistance in the Razorback Ticket Center. The Ticket Center Assistant will provide ticket center staff with assistance during athletic events, including events held on weeknights, weekends, and over University of Arkansas designated breaks. The Ticket Center Assistant must be able to work all home football games, most home men’s and women’s basketball games and baseball games. Other select events will include Volleyball, Soccer, Indoor/Outdoor Track and Field, Gymnastics and Softball, as well as other events held in University of Arkansas athletic facilities.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Summary of Job Duties: Academic tutors provide instructional support to students in specific academic content areas and help students develop successful study skills.

Primary job duties include:

  • Planning and implementing weekly sessions with students to promote independent learning
  • Communicating effectively with students and staff
  • Identifying and addressing study skill needs for students in the context of their tutoring sessions
  • Preparing and submitting accurate records of sessions with students.
  • Maintaining a high level of knowledge in their academic content area.
  • Knowing and complying with University FERPA, Sexual Harassment, and confidentiality guidelines
  • Knowing and complying with policies governing the tutoring of student-athletes in the NCAA

Have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA
