We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented S/4HANA Analytics Developer to join our SAP S/4HANA Transformation program team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Gather and finalize functional specifications with client
  • Analyze gaps between the client requirements and the S/4 configurations
  • Create Data Sources (CDS views) in S4
  • Communicate between data and functional teams for troubleshooting
  • Build models and stories in SAC

Expected to be on-site in downtown Calgary 80% of the time. This is not a remote work role.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experienced in developing CDS views in S4 (minimum 2-4 years)
  • MUST HAVE solid Design and Development skills in Embedded Analytics, Fiori and SAC related development (good to have at least one implementation cycle in SAC)
  • Mandatory SQL scripting knowledge (minimum 2-4 years)
  • Nice to have exposure in S4 Finance, Oil & Gas and Procurement functional areas
  • Good understanding of BW data models and Bex queries/BOBJ reports
  • Data migration experience is an asset

As an Intern in this 11-week program, you’ll have the opportunity to support dynamic teams such as Business Analytics, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Research & Insights, and Client Consulting as they support large scale projects for some of the nation’s most well-known brands. Responsibilities:

The Director, Energy Analytics will lead large-scale energy-as-a-service, energy-solutions, and related energy programs across all business sectors within Kimberly-Clark. They will be responsible for managing a direct team of 2+ Associate Directors, along with an indirect team of 20-40 individuals comprised of regional and site leaders, etc. Specific responsibilities include…

  • Identifying energy-cost-savings and decarbonization opportunities, among others, at Kimberly-Clark global facilities.
  • Constructing multi-year roadmaps (and corresponding business cases, corporate programs, etc.) to deliver against identified opportunities.
  • Guiding technical implementation, including oversight of multi-functional engineering teams comprised of Kimberly-Clark and third-party employees.
  • Educating stakeholders across the business, including regional and site representatives, along with executive sponsors.
  • Traveling (up to 50%) to Kimberly-Clark facilities to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of energy programs.
  • Coordinating with the Global Procurement organization, regional procurement teams, mill engineering teams, mill finance, and corporate treasury/finance.
  • Designing analytical tools for the measurement & verification of energy savings programs.
  • Engaging external parties, where appropriate, to bring new technologies to Kimberly-Clark.
  • Managing a direct team of two Associate Directors and an indirect team of 20-40 individuals.
  • Creating executive-level and public-facing presentations.

Scope:

This position functions as the leader of the Energy Analytics group, which is focused on reducing the cost-of-goods sold, minimizing Kimberly-Clark’s carbon footprint, and strengthening the commitment to the consumer. The Director, Energy Analytics Procurement will report to the Sr. Director, Digital Transformation Strategy & Technology to deliver targeted energy-as-a-service and energy-solutions programs. They will partner across a matrixed organization, including with peers in Global, Regional, and Mill functions.

Competencies/ Skills & Requirements:

  • Change management experience at the working (plant) and executive level for large-scale programs (

$50 M). * Deep knowledge of technical engineering and/or significant experience in a technical role (Professional Engineer or related certification(s) preferred).

  • Understanding of current procurement trends and contract types, especially as they relate to energy-solutions and energy-as-a-service.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills.
  • Advanced vendor-negotiation and management skills.
  • Experience with energy-as-a-service contract types.
  • High interpersonal and communications skills to motivate, coach & lead a diverse group of team members.

Qualifications/Education/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 15 plus years of relevant professional experience, with 4+ years in a role with significant leadership and/or P&L responsibility.
  • Deep understanding of procurement processes, especially related to energy solutions.
  • Ability to influence without authority within a matrix organization, including at the working and executive level.
  • Previously demonstrated ability to successfully lead the execution of a global, regional or functional strategic initiative with proven business results.
  • Superb communication skills, written and verbal, utilizing a clear and concise manner across various levels of the organization
  • Excellent judgment, interpersonal skills, cultural awareness and professional maturity with executive presentation experience, comfortable interacting with senior executive leadership, lead, facilitate and manage change effectively
