Notable entertainment figures, T-Dollar and TobiNation sentenced to six months’ imprisonment each for Naira mutilation.
The duo were convicted and sentenced on Thursday, May 8, 2025, by the Lagos Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), after pleading guilty to the charges.
Furthermore, the presiding judge, Justice Owoeye, of the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, handed down the sentence with an option of a N200,000 fine.
Notably, prominent Nigerian personalities have been embroiled in Naira mutilation cases with EFCC, including controversial singer, Portable, Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, and Comedian AY Makun, who recently opened up about a similar incident.
