In this full-time role you will be supporting adults with learning and physical disabilities and autism in a community outreach setting located across in Scarborough. Your role will involve offering support with personal care needs as well as supporting with moving and handling and carrying out day to day tasks with the service users to help promote their independence.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months experience in Social Care in the UK is essential
- Being a driver with access to your own vehicle is desirable due to the accessibility of Scarborough
- Be proactive and engaging with the service users you are supporting
- Flexible availability to accommodate varying shift patterns, including weekends and evenings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to make a difference
