We have an exciting position within the Student Recruitment Team for a Student Recruitment Assistant to support the teams ongoing Recruitment and Outreach activities.
Reporting to the Student Recruitment Manager, the post holder will be tasked with representing the University at various events throughout the UK. This will include events such as School & College engagements, UCAS Fairs and other talks and events with external organisations.
This role will support the team’s wider plans to increase the number of applicants from Level 3. It will be key in providing advice and guidance to post 18 school/college leavers prior to starting University.
The individual will be proactive, enthusiastic and demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills. They will support the team in administrative duties whilst growing the development of school / college and external organisations partnerships with WGU. Furthermore, they will support with on-site events such as visits to campus, open days and events aimed at increasing applications to the university.
This role involves travel throughout the UK, including weekend and evening working.
