Our software engineering teams have the autonomy to drive technical decisions for their products, with interesting scale, security, usability, resilience, redundancy, and cloud multi-region technical challenges. We’re looking for software engineers from all different specialisms – front-end, back-end, test automation, ops, infrastructure – who are interested in working across these disciplines long term and building a wide skillset, with the opportunity to work across multiple teams and products.

You Will:
- Contribute to the entire development life cycle, from concept to release
- Participate in system architecture discussions
- Implement new features and improve the ones we have already built
- Maintain existing service API and develop new ones
- Participate in all phases of quality assurance and defect resolution
- Interact with systems engineers to debug infrastructure problems
- Perform other duties as assigned
You Have:
- Experience with one of Golang, Java, C or a C-style language, or Node.js
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js and CSS pre-processors (front-end engineers)
- Experience with Object Oriented design
- Familiarity of Microservice Architecture
- Familiarity with Linux system command line preferred
- Experience building scalable, high availability applications
- Legally eligible to work in the UK on an ongoing basis
- BSc. or MSc. in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent industry experience
Nice to Have:
- Experience with DynamoDB and other non relational databases
- Experience with relational databases like MySQL
- Experience with AWS, and/or AWS qualifications (AWS Developer, AWS Solution Architect)
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with service orchestration tools e.g. k8s, HashiCorp
- Experience with linux debugging commands like tcpdump and strace
