<p> We are looking for an experienced social worker to join Child in Care team for Stoke- on- Trent City Council.</p>
<p> <b>Roles &; responsibilities</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>Holding a caseload of Looked after Children</li>
<li>Undertaking Core Assessments</li>
<li>Undertaking Child Protection Enquiries</li>
<li>Undertaking Viability Assessments</li>
<li>Undertaking Kinship Assessments</li>
<li>Undertaking Risk Assessments</li>
<li>Producing Annex B reports</li>
<li>Undertaking Regulation 38 Assessments</li>
<li>Undertaking Special Guardian Assessments</li>
<li>Liaising/ Working close with partnership agencies to support the families and meet the children/ young peoples needs</li>
<li>Preparing &; implementing Care Plans</li>
<li>Attending court and giving evidence when required</li>
<li>Obtaining Interim Care Orders/Interim Supervision Orders</li>
<li>Initiating Care Proceedings</li>
<li>Completion of Care Proceedings</li>
<li>Obtaining Special Guardianship Orders</li>
<li>Producing Child Permanency Reports</li>
<li>Reviewing Financial payments received by kinship carers/ or carers granted Residence Orders/Special Guardianship Orders</li>
</ul>
<p> <b>Essential Requirements:</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>Social Work Qualification &#8211; Degree or equivalent</li>
<li>At least 2 years experience as a social worker within childrens services</li>
<li>Social Work England Registration</li>
<li>Driving license and access to own vehicle</li>
</ul>
