<p> The Shift Electrical Technician troubleshoots complex electrical issues to help meet Mill objectives and supports engineering design, troubleshooting, documentation, project installs and startups. They will also be a technical trainer to Shift Tech’s to help strengthen their capabilities.</p>
<p> <b>In this role, you will:</b></p>
<p> Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical advanced equipment issues and/or failures on multiple assets such as robotic systems, controllers, servo drives, electrical systems, temperature control loops, etc.</p>
<p> Schedule and coordinate maintenance and repairs with other departments who may be affected by these activities.</p>
<p> Provide functional guidance in complex problem-solving and optimization across the facility equipment and processes to meet objectives.</p>
<p> Mentor and train Shift Tech’s on electrical work including feedback on work performed.</p>
<p> Read and properly interpret industrial electrical prints, drawings, and instruction manuals.</p>
<p> Utilize SAP in support of the maintenance functions and possess the ability to keep detailed accurate records.</p>
<p> Perform light mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.</p>
<p> Support the planning and execution of daily/weekly/and shutdown activities.</p>
<p> Participate in cost effective decision making (for example/ labor, parts, and materials).</p>
<p> Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations, and keeping work area clean and free of FOD.</p>
<p> May participate in continuous improvement activities.</p>
<p> The successful candidate will join the Equipment and Reliability team and report to the Maintenance and Reliability Manager.</p>

<p> To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:</p>
<p> High School Diploma or GED required.</p>
<p> Associate’s Degree in Electrical or Industrial Technology plus related plus five years of related manufacturing electrical experience or High School Diploma or GED plus seven years of related manufacturing electrical experience. Prefer experience with PLCs, robotics and high-speed manufacturing and converting equipment.</p>
<p> Ability to maintain a work schedule of 12-hour fixed shifts (day or night), including overtime, weekends and holidays.</p>
<p> Willing to work 12-hour shifts (fronts or backs), weekends, and holidays.</p>
<p> Role model all Safety Requirements including Electrical Safe Working Practices, Hazard Recognition, and PPE.</p>
<p> Adhere to all Quality Requirements including strict Gowning and Hygiene requirements.</p>
<p> Must be able to wear the required PPE while performing tasks.</p>
<p> Must be able to lift 40 pounds twice each hour.</p>
<p> Ascend and descend stairs, ladders and ramps.</p>
<p> Perform bending, twisting, stooping and crouching movements.</p>
<p> Maintain all certifications needed – (Working at Heights, etc.).</p>
