Job description: 829’s SEO Specialist role is a mid-level position on the Search Engine Optimization team. You will be reporting directly to an SEO Manager and service a book of small to medium clients independently or in teams. An ideal candidate for this role will have a solid foundation of common SEO concepts, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a passion for growth in a fast-paced digital marketing environment. This role requires previous experience with search engine optimization and offers a straightforward career path to advance within the team.
What you’ll do:
- Auditing websites for SEO
- Addressing technical issues
- Developing in-depth content strategy based on keyword and market research
- Writing and implementing search engine optimized copy
- Optimizing client-produced content for SEO
- Direct communication with clients when necessary
What you’ll bring:
- 1 – 2 years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on SEO
- Experience with WordPress, SquareSpace, or other CMS
- Experience with SEMRush or equivalent tools
- Good understanding of Google Analytics
- Nice to Have: Front-end development experience and/orHubSpot experience
