Senior Support Worker
You will manage the day to day running of a nominated supported accommodation services across London and Essex, supporting vulnerable children and adolescents, in line with the company’s Vision, Mission and Values. You will oversee all activities within the services, ensure that each person’s package of support is sufficient to meet their needs and that the support provided is person-centred. You will be responsible for the recruitment, training, supervision, and appraisal of the staff team. With the incoming Ofsted regulations for supported accommodation services, this role will also be integral to the meeting of set standards.

Essential:
- It is essential that you have experience working within a health and social care environment, preferably within children & adolescents services.
- Minimum of 3 year’s experience working in health & social care (2 years in supervisory).
- Qualified to a Level 3 standard within Heath and Social Care or equivalent.
Desirable:
- Experience of management training
- Understanding of registration requirements and Ofsted inspections
- Understanding of relevant legislation e.g., Children Act, Safeguarding, Health and Safety at Work Act, MCA, DOLS.
- Experience of supervising staff and undertaking supervisions and appraisals.
- Understanding of equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practice
- All successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
