The LEGO Group’s UK and Ireland Business Unit is seeking a Head of Marketing to lead the strategic direction and drive business results through compelling brand strategy and execution within the market, whilst also being a flag-bearer for the digital transformation journey! Are you in?

Working within one of the largest markets, you will set strong direction across marketing, commercial, leadership organisational disciplines on a local and regional level:
Deep functional Marketing expertise and execution with breakthrough results
Empowering people and the organisation to succeed coupled with tangible success developing and accelerating talent.
Positive relationship with Sales and Operations colleagues as well as regional and global counterparts to drive full value chain performance to achieve commercial and brand health ambitions.
Core responsibilities
Actively participate in setting the growth strategy and business/organisation direction from a Marketing perspective, collaborating with Sales, Operations, Finance and HR leadership colleagues.
Deliver revenue, consumer sales and profit objectives as a key contributor to commercial planning, management and course correction if needed.
Be the LT voice of the shopper, ensuring we strike the right balance between long-term brand health and short-term commercial opportunities and proactively shape regions audience, theme and channel mix.
Deliver market share and active consumer objectives through ‘Through the Line’ marketing activation that uniquely resonates with UK & Ireland consumers & shoppers and is consistent with the global brand framework.
Improve equity, awareness and desire for the LEGO® brand in the UK & Ireland growing advocacy, engagement and lifetime value
Lead, encourage and set direction for Marketing leadership team across Brand, Trade and Digital Marketing & Marketing Planning leading 8 leaders and a wider team of 20+ marketers.
Drive an insight & data led approach, audience first and ‘through-the-line’ Marketing that increases consumer and shopper base through recruitment, retention and reactivation across relevant touchpoints.
Lead to embed the owned ecosystem, alongside earned, shared and paid channels through strong collaboration internally, as well as external agencies and IP partners.
Actively contribute to & improve the strategic contribution from our Western European regional Marketing Value Chain.
Do you have what it takes
Strong background operating in a marketing (or sales/commercial) leadership capacity with proven experience working with large scale retailers who are outstanding in your commercial category
Proven track record of collaboration across organisational boundaries both internally (global and regional stakeholders) and externally (agency partners)
Strong people leadership experience, including leading leaders and developing talent to the next level
Demonstrated skills in Digital Marketing and eCommerce, ‘through-the-line’ execution, agency management, Marketing optimisation and maximizing owned, earned and shared opportunities
Track record of leadership and organisational development beyond own team and Marketing function.
