For over 50 years&comma; our North American Trucking business has been a leader in providing innovative payments solutions for the over-the-road trucking industry and fuel merchants&period; This position is located in either Atlanta&comma; GA or Brentwood&comma; TN&period; In this role&comma; you will be reporting to the SVP&comma; General Counsel &&num;8211&semi; North American Fuel&period; The successful candidate will serve as the primary legal counsel supporting the legal needs of the North American Trucking division through coordination with internal SMEs&comma; outside resources&comma; and other internal&sol;external stakeholders&period;How We WorkEither &&num;8216&semi;in person&&num;8217&semi; 5 days or &&num;8216&semi;hybrid&&num;8217&semi; &lpar;3 days in office in either Atlanta or Brentwood&comma; and 2 days work-from-home&rpar;&period;Role Responsibilities&colon;The responsibilities of the role will include&colon;Provide strategic and practical advice to business partners across the North American Trucking division&period;Coordinate with a team of legal and compliance professionals to provide comprehensive legal support for the North American Trucking division while supporting revenue-growing initiatives&period;Partner closely with business leadership&comma; compliance&comma; and other internal stakeholders to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with legal&comma; regulatory&comma; and bank partner requirements&period;Draft&comma; review and negotiate agreements with high-value customers&comma; key partnerships&comma; and other strategic relationships&period;Review sales and marketing collateral to ensure compliance with all laws&comma; bank partner requirements&comma; and internal policies&period;Provide specific advice on relevant laws&comma; rules&comma; regulations&comma; and regulatory guidance&period;Act as a subject matter expert while providing legal guidance to business clients and other team members&period;Qualifications &amp&semi; Skills&colon;J&period;D&period; degree and active law license7&plus; years of law firm or in-house counsel experience&semi; financial services or fintech experience is a plus&period;Appreciation of FLT Values of&colon;
