Responsibilities:
- Provide personalised support to students with special educational needs.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Assist in the development of social and emotional well-being of students.
- Implement behaviour management strategies to enhance the overall classroom experience.
- Contribute to creating a positive and engaging learning community.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a primary school setting (desired but not essential).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment.
- Relevant qualifications in education or special education (desired but not essential).
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
