<p> Job Title: Company Accountant<br />
 Location: Ikeja, Lagos<br />
 Employment Type: Full-time</p>
<p><b>Roles and Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Prepare monthly management accounts, annual financial accounts and liaise with external auditors</li>
<li>Prepare budgets, cash-flow projections and monitor actual expenditures against same</li>
<li>Ensure accurate invoices are issued to clients in a timely manner</li>
<li>Carry out periodic bank reconciliations</li>
<li>Follow up with clients on receivables and related WHT receipts</li>
<li>Process monthly staff payroll and pension remittances</li>
<li>Perform treasury function including management of cash float, accounts receivables and payables</li>
<li>Ensure timely renewal of Operating Licenses and Insurance policies</li>
<li>Ensure the preparation, remittance, and timely filing of all local, state, and federal taxes and returns as well as cultivate relationship with tax authorities to obtain various tax certificates</li>
<li>Liaise with service providers on a timely manner on accounting, regulatory, statutory, and other matters</li>
<li>Provide financial input for contract bids</li>
<li>Supervise account personnel and storekeeper</li>
<li>Ensure the application of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures within the department.</li>
<li>Manage the company assets register</li>
<li>Manage relationships with bankers, regulators, tax officials, consultants and other relevant stakeholders</li>
<li>Handle other assignments as required by Management.</li>
<li>Position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Requirements</b></p>
<ul>
<li>A minimum of a 2:2 Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any other related discipline.</li>
<li>ACCA/ACA is required.</li>
<li>At least 5 years post qualification experience in management, financial accounting and treasury management.</li>
<li>Strong financial and accounting background.</li>
<li>Experience working with external auditors, internal controls, and compliance-related issues.</li>
<li>A team player and goal oriented individual.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Exceptional organization and time-management skills.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Remuneration</b></p>
<ul>
<li>N250,000 monthly gross plus allowances.</li>
</ul>
