<p><strong><a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/tag/brighton" rel="noopener">Brighton</a></strong> pulled off a remarkable late comeback, defeating <strong><a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/?s=manchester+city" rel="noopener">Manchester City</a></strong> 2-1 at the Amex Stadium on Saturday.</p>
<p>The loss marked City’s fourth consecutive loss in all competitions.</p>
<p>Erling Haaland initially gave City the lead with a first-half goal, but Brighton regrouped, firing double in the second 45 minutes.</p>
<p>Joao Pedro leveled the score in the 78th minute, shortly afterward, Matt O’Riley, back in action after an injury layoff, struck a dramatic winner to complete the Seagulls’ comeback.</p>

<p>The loss adds to City’s recent struggles, following last weekend’s 2-1 Premier League defeat against Bournemouth and a <strong>4-1 loss to Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League</strong>.</p>
<p>Before then, they already suffered a 2-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup.</p>
