Arsenal’s Premier League title hopes suffered a major setback after a 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Bruno Fernandes put United ahead just before halftime, curling a free-kick past David Raya.
Arsenal then responded strongly in the second half, with Declan Rice leveling the score with a brilliant strike from the edge of the box.
United came close to doubling their lead earlier, but Noussair Mazraoui’s effort was denied by a superb Raya save.
Gabriel Martinelli also had a late chance for Arsenal but missed, though he was ruled offside.
The result leaves Arsenal 15 points behind leaders Liverpool, while United climb to 14th in the table.
