General Information:
The Quality Specialist will report to the HUB Quality Manager – NAM providing supporting with Large Projects and Service teams in Canada to ensure the products and services of our organization meet or exceed customer expectations and quality standards. The Quality Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Quality Management System. A successful candidate will be able to ensure all materials, processes, and procedures meet regulatory and quality standards, and promptly resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning, scheduling, and documenting the execution of internal audits for the Quality department.
Provide support during internal audits, certification audits and management reviews.
Maintain quality management system records, files, and databases in a neat and orderly fashion and in compliance with the document management system and applicable standards.
Proactively evaluate and develop quality processes, measure quality activities, review and coordinate quality assurance and quality control activities
Analyze QA and/or other data for trends and issue reports, as needed. Use various statistical analyses to solve business/quality problems.
Perform incoming inspection on parts and components
Manage quality issues internally and/or with suppliers.
Coordinate the execution of improvement projects.
Qualifications:
General college diploma or with a specialty related to the position
Knowledge of high voltage products or electrical power systems is desirable
Background in quality function, engineering, manufacturing, product development, or project management
Proficiency with multiple computer systems such as MS Office, SAP, SharePoint
Fluent English and French skills required
Experience in quality management and / or project management will be considered a plus
Certified ISO9001 internal auditor.
Six Sigma or Lean Sigma green belt certified
Good communication and cultural sensitivity
Willingness to travel if needed (max. 10%)
