The Role:
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our fast-paced, growing Construction & Development team. You will be part of developing and delivering a completely unique experiential hospitality concept across the US. This individual will be leading multiple projects simultaneously with unique locations and designs. A successful team member will be a self-sufficient problem solver with a visionary mindset to exceed performance parameters consistently in this Project Manager role.
What you’ll do:
- Work cross-functionally with interior design, real estate, operations, finance, and legal teams to ensure project delivery.
- Excellent communication skills together with analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
- Works closely with all stakeholders to understand the concept, objectives, and goals for the requested project.
- Manages initiatives, including feasibility studies and scope development, while also being a compliance advocate related to building codes, ADA requirements, etc.
- Owns planning and implementation of projects, including developing cost estimates, scoping surveys, project scheduling, and budgeting.
- Must be able to multitask, analyze opportunities, define successful approaches, solve problems, and accomplish objectives with minimal direction.
- Assists with or may be responsible for project scheduling and project decisions based on objectives which include but are not limited to: site improvements, entitlements and permits, consultant selection, design team liaison, schedule creation and management, contractor selection and management, financial management, including cash flows, anticipated cost reports, and budget analysis.
- Develops relationships with consultants/contractors/vendors to serve as a liaison between all stakeholders and facilitates effective communication between these individuals, and manages timelines, budgets, bidding, coordination, etc.
- Provides appropriate level of on-site supervision to ensure project performance criteria are being met.
- Management of pre-opening internal workstreams and timelines with relevant teams.
Key Skills/Competencies:
- Required experience managing multiple simultaneous projects.
- Preferred experience with the hospitality industry.
- 3-4 years of project management experience required.
- Ability to work and prioritize independently.
- Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
- Strong background with managing vendors, schedules, and budgets.
- A./B.S. degree in Business/Architectural or equivalent preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- PDF creation and manipulation in BlueBeam preferred.
- Experience using Smartsheets is preferred.
- Ability to think critically, be proactive, and be a self-starter.
