<p> <b>Job Brief</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>We are looking to hire a skilled Procurement Officer who will be responsible for tasks such as evaluating suppliers, sourcing products and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high-quality</li>
</ul>
<p> <b>Job Responsibilities</b><br />
 </p>
<ul>
<li>Prepare weekly plans for the purchase of goods</li>
<li>Follow and enforce the company&#8217;s procurement standards and procedures</li>
<li>Maintain good supplier relations and negotiate supplies</li>
<li>Carry out market surveys and evaluate prospective suppliers</li>
<li>Oversee all purchasing activities</li>
<li>Review, compare, and analyze products and services to be purchased and present for approval</li>
<li>Manage inventories and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records</li>
<li>Maintain and update supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc</li>
<li>Prepare budgets, cost analyses, and reports.</li>
</ul>
<p> <b>Requirements</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>Candidates should possess an HND qualification in Business Management or any related field</li>
<li>1 &#8211; 2 years of cognate experience.</li>
<li>Proven experience as Procurement Officer</li>
<li>Strong communication and negotiation skills</li>
<li>Knowledge of market trends and principles</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office</li>
<li>Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.</li>
