A POS agent who also serves as a thrift collector has cried out for help after her bag containing over ₦150,000 was stolen from her shop while she briefly stepped out to get something for her children.
This was revealed in a post shared on her X (formerly Twitter) page, where she emotionally narrated her ordeal.

According to her, the stolen money included funds for her POS business as well as thrift contributions collected from others.
Sharing her distress, she wrote: “My life is crumbling. Just pray I pass this moment.”
“I went to get something for my kids this afternoon and locked the burglary gate, but by the time I returned, my shop had been broken into and my POS bag was gone. It contained over ₦150k.”
She explained that 75% of the stolen money didn’t belong to her, as it included contributions she collects on behalf of others. “I usually collect thrift contributions to run my business. Now the money is gone and I don’t know how to repay the owners by month-end,” she added.
She appealed to the public for assistance in raising the funds to settle her debt and continue her business.
