The Kogi State Police Command has confirmed the attack on Senator Natasha Akpoti’s family house by some unknown gunmen in the late hours of yesterday.
Recall that Gistreel reported that unknown assailants armed with firearms and cutlasses had attacked the family house of embattled Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan in the early hours of Tuesday.

The Kogi State Commissioner of Police, Miller Dantawaye, confirmed the attack during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lokoja.
He stated, “The command has been fully briefed on the unfortunate and criminal incident by the Okehi LGA Divisional Police Officer. So far, no arrest has been made. Investigation into the incident has begun, and we shall get to the root of it. We will deal with those criminal elements that carried out the attack.”
This confirmation from the police follows after Natasha’s Chief Press Secretary, Arogbonlo Israel, shared a statement also confirming and condenming the attack.
