Nigerian singer Teni Makanaki schooled TikTok influencer Habeeb Hamzat Adelaja, aka Peller, on reproductive health after he made misleading claims about women’s ability to conceive.
During a TikTok livestream, Peller questioned why Teni had no children and suggested that women could no longer conceive once they reached their 40s.
His statement didn’t sit well with the Billionaire crooner, who immediately corrected him, emphasizing that medical advancements such as egg freezing and IVF allow women to have children later in life.
Teni bluntly asked if Peller was educated, stating that his remarks reflected ignorance. She urged him to research and understand women’s reproductive health before spreading misinformation.
“Are you educated at all? Are you in tune with science? Do you know about freezing your eggs? You sound like an illiterate, and I need to educate you,” she said.
The singer further stressed that having children is not just about money or hiring nannies but about being emotionally ready to provide love and care. She warned against making uninformed comments about women’s choices and biological timelines.
As Teni schooled him, Peller appeared shocked, his mouth wide open, before eventually asking if she had planned to insult him all along.
