<p> <b>Specific Duties:</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>Must be able to communicate, encourage, praise, motivate, prioritize, delegate, and plan workflows with staff to create an efficient and productive department.</li>
<li>Present a team oriented, leadership role, promoting vision, goal oriented direction and creativity within work teams.</li>
<li>Exercises a high degree of control over confidential information.</li>
<li>Utilizes operational reporting to identify areas of opportunity for improvement.</li>
<li>Uses logic, data and reasoning for decision making.</li>
<li>Uses process improvement techniques, including LEAN thinking, in daily work processes.</li>
<li>Trains new hires on team specific functions/processes.</li>
<li>Maintains logs of payer specific/vendor issues.</li>
<li>Provides department coverage for absences.</li>
<li>Collaborate with payers/vendor reps for problem resolution.</li>
<li>Works reports per priority matrix.</li>
<li>Assists with quality reviews and productivity.</li>
<li>Assists with appeal management.</li>
<li>Ensures metrics perform within established parameters.</li>
<li>Supports staff and acts as a resource for questions.</li>
<li>Reviews adjustment requests.</li>
<li>Reviews and adjusts work assignments as needed based on staffing levels.</li>
<li>Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.</li>

<p> What’s Required: </p>

<li>Associate’s degree in Health Services Administration or Business related field. In lieu of degree, consideration will be given to a candidate with 3 years revenue cycle experience.</li>
<li>Two years of experience specific to discipline.</li>
