<p><b>About the Role.</b></p>
<p> As a Support Worker/ Life Practitioner you&#8217;ll be an integral part of the team, teaching young people life skills in context and support them to integrate these skills. We&#8217;ll give you all the training you&#8217;ll need. You&#8217;ll contribute to and promote the development of young peoples&#8217; communication, self-help, and independence skills &#8211; undertaking actions devised by other specialist colleagues, such as speech therapists and educational psychologists and providing feedback on sessions. Plus, support individuals with maintaining and improving their health and supporting emotional needs, always promoting increased independence. Support Workers participate in a wide range of innovative and exciting recreational activities such as trips to the Safari Park, fun fairs or local restaurants.</p>

<li>An understanding of brain injuries or severe learning disabilities</li>

<p> We offer fixed and flexible hours to suit your family life.</p>
<p> Weekend Days &#8211; 13hrs per day. Typically 7.30am and finishing at 8.30pm (1 hour break).</p>
<p> Twilight &#8211; 5 hours per day. Typically 5pm and Finishing at 10pm.</p>
<p> Flexible hours can be discussed to suit you and business needs.</p>

<p> The Support Worker salary starts at £11.22 ph and can increase to £12.80 ph depending on your experience and development.</p>
<p> We also offer enhanced hourly rates on additional hours, for those who choose to work overtime.</p>
