The NA Benefits Operations assistant will provide operational support to the NA Benefits Operations teams. The Benefits Assistant will serve as the subject matter expert on the end-to-end process for vendor invoicing. The position will develop and implement standard procedures as well as, improve upon existing procedures, working cross-functionally to ensure regulatory and program compliance.
In this role, you will:
Acquiring an in-depth knowledge of internal HR and Finance systems along with NA Benefits Operations policies and processes.
Collaborate with team members and Procurement to complete PO set up requests and ongoing PO maintenance in line with internal control.
Oversee the end-to-end invoice process including processing, auditing and reconciling invoices along with developing ad-hoc reports and analyzing as needed.
Research, troubleshoot and resolve vendor invoice issues and ensure all account payable procedures are adhered to.
Administer benefit programs as needed to support the NA Benefits team.
Serve as a single point of contact for internal and external parties on NA Benefits Operations POs, invoices and accounting inquiries.
Provide support across the team for mail services, data reconciliation, year-end activities and other ongoing tasks.
Effectively communicate both orally and written to internal and external customers, responding to questions, and escalating questions or issues to appropriate parties as needed.
Contribute as a team member and/or representative of the department in various situations, projects and activities not included in other principal accountabilities to assist in the accomplishment of established objectives.

- 1 years of related work experience
- Experience managing purchase orders and invoicing
- Detail oriented with strong research, analytical and issue-resolution skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Power Point etc.), SAP and other invoicing experience are required.
- Knowledge & experience with Workday, Talia, Coupa, HRIS and payroll systems is preferred.
- A high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness
- Excellent organization and time management skills to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced organization
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to effectively work across all levels of the organization and external contacts.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and assume responsibility
- Strong customer service focus
