<p><a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/?s=leicester+city"><strong><u><b>Leicester City</b></u></strong></a> manager Ruud van Nistelrooy has categorically ruled out any possibility of Nigerian midfielder <a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/tag/wilfred-ndidi"><strong><u><b>Wilfred Ndidi</b></u></strong></a> leaving the club during the January transfer window.</p>
<p>Ndidi, who has attracted interest from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco and La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid, remains a key figure in Leicester’s squad, according to Van Nistelrooy.</p>
<p>Speaking to the BBC, Van Nistelrooy stated, “No, of course not. Wilfred is a key player and person in the squad and in the club. I’m glad he is nearly there to help the team again.”</p>
<p>The Dutch manager emphasized Ndidi’s importance as the Foxes battle to improve their current form.</p>

<p>“We know how much we’ve missed him, and we know we need him. Wilf is key in the coming months, a key part of this team that can get us out of this situation.”</p>
<p>Ndidi, who signed a new three-year contract with Leicester City last summer, has made 15 league appearances this season, providing three assists.</p>
<p>His return from injury is expected to significantly bolster the team’s chances of climbing the table.</p>
