The Talent Acquisition team globally hires approx. 12,000 to 14,000 associates a year across sales, marketing, engineering, clinical, functional, and manufacturing roles within more than 70 countries. As the North American Employer Brand Specialist within the team, you will help further build out BD’s Employer Brand and Recruitment Marketing efforts to attract and retain top talent to the organization in North America.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Employer Brand needs in the region by working closely with TABPs to understand the recruiting and talent attraction needs across various segments and units.
Proactively identify approaches to promote the BD Employer Brand within the North American market; maintain a steady cadence and consistency in communicating what we offer as an employer of choice.
Identify, gather, and write associate stories to share what it is like working at BD to populate the BD.com careers site, social media or other marketing channels. Collaborate often with Corp Communications for alignment.
Collaborate with TA and HR colleagues from across the globe in supporting attraction strategies and tactics – at the regional levels, including IDE&E activities and external partnerships.
Plan, oversee, and manage the creation of new employer brand materials, assets, toolkits, and campaigns.
Partner with the wider talent acquisition team to leverage the broad array of tools, resources, and technology accessible to attract and secure talent, including emerging and trending technologies and platforms.
Work with Team to evaluate core Employer Brand metrics, including identifying and establishing for ad hoc projects and areas of focus.
Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in employer brand or recruitment marketing. Experience working cross-regionally or globally with teams, a plus.
High school diploma or GED required
Must have strong attention to detail and strong relationship/partnerships building skills.
Must have excellent writing and editing skills for short-form (careers site) and long-form (for candidate emails and newsletters).
Proficiency in using Microsoft Word suite, including Word, PPT, Teams, as well as Photoshop, Canva, and other graphic design tools – a plus.
Must be a team player with the ability to move quickly on an array of projects, as requested, while exhibiting good judgment in a fast-paced, growth environment.
Results-focused, with strong analytical and reporting skills and the motivation to drive for improvements. Must embrace a growth mindset.
