Celebrated singer, Davido Adeleke claims that no one rivals him in the Afrobeats genre.
He acknowledged that American artists like Gunna, Young Thug, and Chris Brown excel in trap and R&B while emphasizing that his strength lies in Afrobeats, where he remains unmatched.

During a recent episode of the Ebro Show on Apple Music, Davido explained that his deep connection to Afrobeats is why he prioritizes the genre and ensures it features prominently even when collaborating with artists from other musical styles.
The singer said …
“One of the good things that American artists like about collaborating with me is that, it’s either we meet in the middle or you just do it my way [Afrobeats]. That’s how it is. Like I said, I can’t sing trap better than Gunna or Young Thug, or sing R&B better than Chris Brown, but nobody can sing Afrobeats like me.”
