Veteran Nollywood actress, Ngozi Ezeonu, faces backlash over her tribute to late colleague, Nkechi Nweje.
It’s worth noting Nkechi Nweje’s tragic passing has left an irreparable void in the Nollywood industry, sparking condolences from fans and colleagues.
In a recent Instagram post, Ngozi Ezeonu paid tribute to Nkechi Nweje, revealing that she was unaware of her colleague’s illness before her passing.
Furthermore, she expressed grief over Nkechi Nweje’s passing, describing it as a tremendous loss.
Her post reads,“It is so difficult to believe you are gone ezigbo nwanyi onicha”.
“I never knew you were ill. So I will never see your ever smiling face again. Nkechi, you were one of the nicest people I met in Nollywood. This is indeed a big blow. GO WELL, MY BEAUTIFUL SISTER”.
