<p> Job Title: Multi-Skilled Train Driver</p>
<p> Location: Mobile- Wessex</p>
<p> Reports to: Team Leaders</p>
<p> Safety Designation: Safety Critical</p>
<p> <b>Purpose of The Role</b></p>
<p> The successful and safe delivery of the programmed work / transit shift of Rail Grinders, Rail Milling and Tampers. Being competent to drive both types of C21 &; C44 Rail Grinders and Rail Milling Machine. In addition, you would also be trained to drive other types of OTM plant.</p>
<p> <b>Key Role Accountabilities</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>Driving and route conducting the machines safely and effectively</li>
<li>Reporting any machine defects to Grinding Supervisor and/or Maintenance Supervisor, where appropriate.</li>
<li>To work safely and effectively to Colas Rail Services Operations procedures.</li>
<li>Assist as required</li>
<li>Assist in maintaining quality systems, and stabling database by continually monitoring, reviewing, and making recommendations for updating as required</li>
<li>Required undertake route learning / refreshing as and when required. Must maintain and work towards expanding route knowledge base.</li>
<li>Will be required to drive all other OTM&#8217;s such as Rail Milling Machine and Tampers</li>
<li>Required to keep all routes current via the Colas Rail route app</li>
</ul>
<p> SHEQ Responsibilities </p>

<li>Work to applicable Safety Plans and Method Statements.</li>
<li>Comply with Section 7 of the Health &; Safety at Work Act 1974</li>
<li>Close Calls and safety conversations submitted as per procedure</li>
</ul>
