as Medical Connections Student Ambassadors to support the delivery of the Medical Connections programme&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> Start Date&colon; 26 February 2024<br &sol;>&NewLine; End Date&colon; 30 March 2024<br &sol;>&NewLine; Location&colon; On campus work<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> The role involves supporting the delivery of three workshops during March 2024&period; Ambassadors will facilitate breakout sessions within the workshops to develop students self-knowledge&comma; confidence and teamwork skills&period; The ambassadors will provide peer support and facilitate discussion around progression through the medical degree offering insight around placements&comma; electives&comma; opportunities and enhancing its reputation&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<&sol;ul>&NewLine;<p><b>Person Specification<&sol;b><&sol;p>&NewLine;<ul>&NewLine;<li>You must be a current student registered on A100 Medicine and Surgery or Medicine and Surgery with a Gateway Year and in Years 2-5 of study&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Demonstratable knowledge and&sol;or personal experience of the Medical Connections programme<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Excellent communication skills and the confidence to talk to other students in small groups&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Enthusiastic attitude about your studies and Lancaster University&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>A friendly approach to interacting with other students<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Good knowledge of your degree scheme and the Medical School&comma;
