<p><b>MISSION</b></p>

<li>To support his line management in carry out engines and equipment maintenance/repair and to provide assistance for maintenance/repair of defective equipment on board all BOURBON Vessels when needed.</li>
<li>To improve the vessels technical availability and reliability</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Carry out maintenance and repairs on surfer vessels in a cost effective and professional manner as instructed by superiors.</li>
<li>Improve the vessels technical availability and reliability thus reducing costs and down time.</li>
<li>Follow company safety procedures; carry out toolbox meetings and job safety analysis before commencing jobs.</li>
<li>Realize a detailed report for each job request to management and to whom it may concern (vessel, Technical manager, Superintendent)</li>
<li>Improved Safety record and prevent lost time accidents.</li>
<li>Give assistance to his HOD, in order to attempt his objective.</li>
<li>Maintain tools under his inventory in good condition of work.</li>
<li>Follow company safety procedures; carry out toolbox meetings and job safety analysis before commencing jobs.</li>
<li>Maintain tools under his inventory in good condition of work. Follow the tools box procedure in place.</li>
<li>Reduce loss of tools and improve tools box efficiency</li>

<li>B.Sc / HND Mechanical Engineering.</li>
<li>Ability to work under the direction of program managers and engineers to perform tests, and evaluate materials for particular applications.</li>
<li>Ability to develop basic technical design and developmental problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Ability to develop and maintain effective, professional relationships, and communicate effectively.</li>
<li>Ability to access shipboard spaces via vertical/inclined ladders and through compartments with limited overhead and/or confined spaces</li>
</ul>

<li>Minimum of 5 years&#8217; experience as a Mechanical Engineering the maritime industry</li>
