Job title: Marketing Events Officer (Hospitality Hub)

Job description: Lewisham College, part of NCG (a leading national provider of education and training), is looking to recruit an Events Officer to promote the work of the Hospitality Hub, part of the Mayor of London’s Academies Programmes.
The Events Officer will work within the Marketing and Communications team to coordinate events in London, working closely with marketing leadership to shape and develop the Hub’s event strategy and roll-out of a new external and internal events programme. The post holder will take up the role during an exciting time in our journey as we build the Hospitality Hub as part of one of the largest college groups in the UK. You will work within a supportive team to manage job requests, plan tasks, and allocate work and projects within the department to ensure the success of the project and deliver on outcomes.
You will possess excellent organisational skills and have experience of managing both large- and small-scale events and developing working relationships with stakeholders. Ability to show initiative and respond effectively to new projects is also essential.
The post will be based on-site at both Lewisham and Southwark Colleges and require travelling across the region as well as working occasionally outside of normal office hours.
