Overview:
The Manager, Website will have responsibility for the Otis sites, from a webmastering point of view, to ensure that they technically (UX/UI/CX) reflect the best “public face” of the company online. They will work In close collaboration with the Sales & Marketing teams, including digital marketing colleagues, all Communications COEs and Regional Communications teams. This position can be remotely located in any geography.
Responsibilities:
- Support the definition of the long-term strategy for Otis sites.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all the developments related to websites.
- Advise the Web comms strategy Sr. Mgr on the improvements, results, competition, and new direction in technology.
- Coordinate the creation of new Otis websites.
- Participate in the Internet Governance Committee and advise on tool-related topics.
- Improve the quality of the website, including the design.
- Regularly audit the local sites to ensure compliance to Global standards.
- Fix broken links and/or page issues (as needed in partnership with DT or shared services team).
- Based on a thorough UX/UI understanding, drive changes in website functionality to ensure the otis.com sites provide the best possible user journeys.
- Track the traffic going to the global website and reports on metrics, partner with Mgr, Analytics & Insights to organize data, analyze and infer response/actions to improve and optimize the site(s).
- When specific new internet development projects are launched: Project Manage the technical testing phase and coordinate feedback from all local webmasters; Work with internal and outside developers to create an effective user experience.
- Coordinate the creation of pages/section on otis.com global sites.
- Maintain a coherence across the site (design) and Coordinate with the Global Brand COE team and the Video/Studio team to ensure that they are compliant with the Otis Brand guidelines.
- Use industry standards to upload new content. Chase & remove outdated content.
- Align with trimester content strategy goals to ensure that .com is a valuable and measurable channel to reach key audiences.
- Drive SEO strategy across the global sites to ensure that it gets a higher ranking on search engines.
- Advocate for SEO, advise local webmasters on their SEO strategies and measurement
- Coordinate and animate the local webmasters community. Train the local webmasters.
- Serve as first line of support for inquiries and technical support to the local teams.
- Contribute to establishing the policies and procedures around content management.
- Partner with Mgr. Operations & Programs to support, coordinate and ensure timely completion of page and content translations based on priority content, new programs, etc.
Qualifications:
- Superior project management capacities
- Good oral/presentation and written communications skills, with strong ability in developing the material and managing content specific to the web
- Strong expertise in Website Management and Digital Marketing in international environments
- Must have expertise in website, marketing automation, and CRM data combination for effective, real time performance reporting; well versed in KPIs and how they impact results
- Demonstrated ability to work in various CMS and reporting systems, including technical servers, and platforms such as SharePoint, Liferay, HubSpot and Google Analytics
- Experience in sourcing web agencies and systems
- Experience in effectively communicating, collaborating, and executing with a global mindset and global team; culturally sensitive, easily adapts to and understands different cultures
Experience / Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field
