<p>Fenerbahce manager <strong><a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/tag/jose-mourinho" rel="noopener">José Mourinho</a></strong> has named his former clubs, <strong>Manchester United</strong> and Tottenham Hotspur, as the two biggest favourites to win this season’s <strong><a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/?s=europa+league" rel="noopener">Europa League</a></strong>.</p>
<p>Speaking ahead of Fenerbahce’s group stage clash against United, Mourinho emphasized the strength of Premier League teams.</p>
<p>He cited their superior quality, intensity and tactical approach compared to other European sides.</p>
<p>“If I have to say now which are the two biggest candidates to win the Europa League, I think it’s easy — Manchester United and Tottenham,” Mourinho told reporters.</p>

<p>He highlighted the Premier League’s distinct level of performance, calling it “a different level of everything.”</p>
<p>Mourinho managed Manchester United from 2016 to 2018, winning the Europa League with them in 2017.</p>
<p>Despite his eventual sacking, the 61-year-old harbours no ill feelings toward the club and wished current manager Erik ten Hag well.</p>
<p>“I left with a good feeling for the club and its fans,” Mourinho said, adding that he wants the best for the club even if things aren’t going perfectly at the moment.</p>
<p>He believes that with continued support, Ten Hag will eventually bring success to United.</p>
