<p>A young <a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/tag/nigerian-man"><strong>Nigerian man</strong></a> voiced his frustration after giving N15,000 to a lady, only to be met with an unexpectedly ungrateful response.</p>
<p>The user, identified as @ibukun_xi on X, recounted the incident in response to a trending post by popular content creator <a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/tag/Layi-Wasabi"><strong>Layi Wasabi</strong></a>. Wasabi sparked a conversation on the platform by asking his followers to share their worst encounters with ingrates.</p>
<p><em>“I know say heartbreak dey pain o but you don help ingrate before??”</em> he asked.</p>
<p>Many users poured in their experiences. One user, @_Ojonya, shared, <em>“Paid someone’s rent on here and she went ‘thanks.’ &#x1f62d;”</em></p>
<p>In response to the post, <strong>@ibukun_xi</strong> narrated how a lady had reached out to him, pleading for a cash gift of N15,000 to complete <strong>a medication bill</strong> of N27,000. Without hesitation, he sent the full amount.</p>

<p>However, the lady’s response left him stunned. Rather than a proper thank you, she simply replied with the letter “T.” Confused, he asked for clarity and was met with, <em>“Lol T for thanks.”</em></p>

<p>The encounter has since gone viral, with reactions pouring in suggestions around retracting the payment.</p>
<p>A social media user <strong>@Silvah101</strong> reacted, <em>“Wetin y’all want make she talk again.</em><br /><em>Is “Thanks” not enough &#x1f644;&#x1f644;&#x1f644;&#x1f926;&#x1f3fd;&#x200d;&#x2642;&#xfe0f;.”</em></p>
<p>Another user, <strong>@hoylumeeday</strong> added,<em> “I fit waste â¦500k on top Lawyer, Police report, Court order, EFCC, CBN just to retrieve back the â¦15k.”</em></p>
