An X user, identified as Chinedu Herbert, has shared the reaction of his father to his shop getting burnt.
Herbert who took to his X handle to share this, stated that his father had come back home with lots of goodies, including grilled chicken, ugba, and drinks.
He stated that after they had all eaten and drank, his father went ahead to break the news of his shop being razed down by fire to the family.
“Last night, my dad came home and gave us grilled chicken, ugba, drinks and all that.
“And then after we ate finish and had a good time, he announced to us that his shop has burned down,” he stated.
He assured that no one was hurt in the incident, adding that it happened in the night when everyone had closed for the day.
This has sparked concern and empathy from Netizens, who wish them well.
@yaran_northside stated, “This kind of grief kills faster than a knife to the gut. God be with you guys, and please make una pay attention to the man he might appear okay but he’s not. Especially If that shop is the only source of income.”
