Manchester City are reportedly prepared to take a staggering £55 million loss on Jack Grealish, with the 29-year-old winger now available for around £45 million, just three years after his record-breaking £100m transfer from Aston Villa.
City’s decision comes amid growing interest from Napoli, who are reportedly choosing between Grealish and Manchester United outcast Alejandro Garnacho, according to SunSport.
Napoli prefer Grealish for immediate impact and chemistry, particularly with Kevin De Bruyne, who just signed a two-year deal with the Italian side.
However, Garnacho, 20, presents greater long-term value, though United’s £70 million valuation is proving a barrier.
Grealish’s situation has drastically deteriorated under Pep Guardiola.
He was excluded from the Club World Cup squad and overlooked in crucial matches, including City’s FA Cup final loss to Crystal Palace.
